Bw/T

I'm glad you got that off your chest. Now take a slow deep breath and release.

My SO is also allergic to morphine and codine too. He has had RSD and has been on crutches for 23 yrs since he was 21. I understand the day to day struggles and the uncontrollable pain sometimes that leaves him sitting and rocking himself since he cannot do anything else.

I have uncontrollable pain in my hands due to MS, so frustrating to try and do anything like type or household chores. I was told in 1990 to find a job where I won't use my hands. I've yet to find one, or even think of one.

I appreciate your vent and wish I could take your pain away. I'm still hopeful both for myself and others that something will come along ... sooner rather then later. Please take care of yourself and know you are not alone.

Thanks so much Beth. I have always been lucky that I have a very high tolerance for pain, so most of the time it has not been a problem. This back injury is going to be a true test. Little rants like tonight are just about the best meds I have. It can really work wonders. That is why I have to make sure I preface with a warning. The last thing I want to do is minimize someone else's pain or feelings. I am so glad that you were able to see my thread exactly for what it is.

I so hope the drug companies develope a new pain medication that you, your son, myself and others like us can safely take. And have you thought about becoming a painter. You know Joni became quite famous painting with her teeth.
