Thumbs up metabolic panel test

It is good to see alot of familar names! I hope everyone is doing well. I am currently working in Biloxi, MS. What a mess! My avatar is a pic I took during Katrina. I don't know how much more time working I have? I have had severe cramps in both legs that not only hurt but, cause a noticeable gait. My doc has ordered a metabolic panel I guess to check for potassium levels and such. I will try to convince him at my next appt to see me on a 1x q 3months schedule, rather than every month. Anyone had any luck since the rules have been reversed?
Once again, it's good to be back. E

Hey, Enk

Long-time, no read.

Glad you're still able to work. Are you working on post-Katrina renovations??

C2 to T10 That's huge, isn't it?? Is it getting worse??

I read somewhere that they're doing research in HBOT to relieve the pressure so that the syrinx can heal. I think it was Japan or Australia. I sure hope they find a cure.

Glad you found us. Take care of yourself. How's your boy doing?? Hugs.

Barb

Wink hey Moose

Glad to see ya here! Katrina recovey cont along the gulfcoast. My folks just finished repairing their house 1 yr later! My avatar is a pic of a 3ft wave in their yard(70miles East of the eye)!!! Why they stayed, I'll never know. Just doing some contract work thru FEMA. Atleast the casinos are coming alive! Thanks for asking about my son. He is doing fine. Yes, my syrinx is LONG, but not wide. Meaning no surgical solution at this time, ie shunt. It has caused severe RSD and a claw-hand deformity that I TRY to ignore. Hope all is well w/ you. E

Hi Enk

I'm glad you found us, it's good to see you posting again.

You asked about how often people see their docs.... I see my doc every 2 months, and in the month that I don't have a visit I call for my Rx's and go to the office to pick them up.

Hope things are going well for you.... how are things with the mrs? (if you don't mind me asking).

Take care,
Liz
