Interested in anyone who has had a Tarlov cyst drained and/or removed and details of your recovery. This is causing extreme pain for me. It is located in the sacrum area and along with normal pain from the affects of polio, as well as arthritis and degenerative disc disease. The cyst is causing some numbness across the lower back and down my strong leg.
Any information will be appreciated Debbie |

I went to Hopkins in January of 2004 and had a Tarlov cyst filled with fat and glue and drained....I never felt that this cyst was the reason for my pain and felt this procedure caused more pain by fiddling with this cyst...It caused more pain where I had none...
