I met my latest primary care physician, who is really caring and knowledgeable, in the Emergency Room when he was a doctor there. When he asked me if I wanted him to be my primary care doctor, I said I would love to, but I am not sure if he would feel comfortable prescribing strong narcotic painkillers for me. He said it was not a problem for him and that all he wanted was to help me. With this wonderful doctor in SF, I always felt believed, trusted, and cared about. This doctor is a gift from God to all his patients.
