20mgs of vicodin and 150 of Tramadol has made it tolerable today for me...my GS...had his BDay party...I'm now home and another 10 mgs of vicodin...

I did not take anything for a long time, I just gritted and let the tears roll ...now I take it when I need it...else I wind up in the ER...

I've had people tell me I can't be in that much pain if I can still do what needs to be done...

I held my right hand with my left...can't go to jail for assault, wouldn't set a good example. lol

I hope olehippie get his ice cream...my DH loves to go get us ice cream from Dairy Queen. lol

thanks, Momma ... sometimes I just want to punch someone - especially when they comment "but you look like you're doing good to me" ...

I now tell them - that when they see me in person, that I'm doing a bit better, but still hurting ... and when they don't see me - I'm usually home because it's just too exhausting to get with others or even go out for groceries - so I just stay home and deal with it ...

I try not to talk about the pain to others ... I have one friend that when I do say something, she has almost the same or MORE aches and pains than what I'm telling her ... so I quit saying anything! just hearing her drags me down ... it's hard to explain ... sorry - had to vent ... I'm okay, tho!

Tammy & Olhipie .. now I can smile and think of yous when I have my ice cream! mmmm, good!

Vonn...I hear ya!! I have pain in my right shoulder now that is almost to the 8 limit on the scale...am I going to tell DH...nope, cause he will say me too.

Yeah, people see me when I am able to function without the pain...I guess they missed that part about...I have been immobile for three weeks because it hurts to move. lol

It seems like the pain has been worse the past several weeks...not sure why...doesn't matter what I do...I just sticks around...I have a Shihatsu massager and I used for over an hour today.

But I haven't lost my humor yet...I ordered pasta...told my DH, dinner's done...now go pick it up!! lol

My pain is pretty high today, about an 8 and a half on the pain scale. I suffer from CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) in my left leg and right arm, one of the main symptoms of CRPS is Hypersenstivity to rain, wind, heat etc so the weather changes are really affecting me - I am dreading the winter!!

Thank you for asking and I hope you are all having low-pain days!

Alison
