Default Freezing Hands / Nerve Damage

I had a terrible, life changing accident in Dec 4, 2006. I was in a coma for 35 days. I was also in the hospital for about another 2 months following. I remember nothing at all. My memory is very spotty from the frontal lobe damage. I see a new pain doctor tomorrow with the heartening feeling he can get me out of this 2 year WAR with vicious pain that I have not been winning.

I have been on Fentanyl 100mcg for about a year and it helps a wee-little bit. I am also taking Oxycodone (Roxicodone by name) 15mg IMM REL that does nothing! Well, let me be very specific, it DOES do something, but in about 45 minutes that little "something" becomes a big fat "NOTHING." And believe me, when I tell you that the "something" is just little ... I am being too kind. The relief is pitiful and it just doesn't seem to work!

I can't wait to see him tomorrow & post my results. I see so many of my fellow head trauma victims on here who've found WONDERFUL relief ... it's all about the right doctor I presume. I think I may have found him and I will post that to, so those of you in Florida have a good, solid, professional who knows his business.

If *YOU* have a similar story, please post it and I'll try and tell you how I've dealt with it.

Cheers to all,

Joe M
