Not sure what you are asking....are you questioning what was in the shot or why you have the pinched nerves???
If you are asking about the shot, it was probably a steroid shot. The reason I say this is I also get steroid shots in my back and left shoulder (depending on the day) and I can only get them every two weeks or so.
As for the pinched nerves....sounds like someone did a boo-boo.

Question Steroid shots

Just wondering.....are you getting pure steroid medication in these injections or is it part of mixture of other meds? Just curious and wondering if pure steroid inj. which be more Beneficial and longer lasting than a mixture. Not even sure if they give just pure steroid.
Glad the shots worked. I heard someone also had a fusion and may get steroid shots.
Best wishes.

Smile

It is a mixture,I am able to receive one every 3 weeks. The cost is $110.00 Thank GOD for insurance.
For the first time in about 2 years I am not taking any pain pills or muslce relaxers for my neck and constent head ache. the head ache has alsways been at the bootm of my skull on the right side.
I still have pain around the scapula and arm but by reliving the neck and head I feel so much better.
I truly felt I was doing well with what I needed in life before,we did miss events,I cut my hours at work, daily naps and a constent reminder to myself that I can do this for the Ortho said everything was fine it was nerve damage. So,foolish me I listen to long.
I am not pain free but I feel so much better.
