Question pain meds prednisone for FM/RSD

Gosh I am really getting desperate. Pain is nw spreading and getting much worse. Remember, I am polymorphic and no meds work on me. (opiates, ketamine, metadone,, etc.). I am n constant pain and partially disabled as it is in my legs, knees, back, etc. I see where Wittesea is taking prednisone. My Dr. just gave me hydrocortisone. pills. Now I realize ths is just a very mild over the counter form of cortisone. I know I will have a really hard time convincing my Dr.'s to try prednisone. Has anyone besides Wittesea had any relief from this for FM and RSD. Any more meds ideas. I know both my painmed. specialist and family dr. are against it. Maybe I need to see another Dr.
