my daughter has Hypoparathroidism and has hypocalcemic seizures. She gets low vit d and calcium and gets TETANY, muscle spasms. lookinto that.

I have read with interest the article you referenced. My level was checked by my Rheumy and found to be >9 ! Needless to say, he sent me to the pharmacy tout suit for Vit. D 2000 iu bid. He said severe muscle pain can occur at this level.
I tend to slather myself in sunscreen because of the autoimmune nature of my illness. A problem. I think that this may become a large issue with growing and legitimate concern of skin cancer. Mere |

Thank you for the information ljp0782. I had my levels rechecked after supplementation and they are now back to the normal range. I will have the levels checked periodically.
