Hello everyone,
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and that we can continue to share information about colloid cysts with each other.

I am doing very well at the moment. My last meeting with my neurologist has me weaning off anti seizure medication, (trileptal) and hoping for no additional problems in the future. My sleep deprived eeg was "normal" so my doc suggested the wean. I have been pretty nervous about it since I have done this before and was off meds for about 2 years. I started having dizzy "spells", and lights really affected my left eye when driving. This last time on AED, has been for a little over 2 years, so yes I am both excited and scared.

I had a wonderful opportunity to go to Hawaii this summer. I was on Oahu.
The trees were filled with flowers, and the ocean was spectacular! Would love to go back as my FIL lives there, and my husband grew up there.

Well, I just wanted to check and in and break the ice so others feel they can join me !

It is really nice to see someone from the old BrainTalk. The old Braintalk is up and running now as well, but there aren't very many folks there yet. Hopefully that will change.

Good to see you, how are you doing? I have been doing well, and have weaned from the seizure med. I hope I can stay off of it for good this time.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to check in again and say "Hi". So far, I am doing well without Trileptal. I am hopeful I will be able to remain off of the Anti-seizure meds this time. I post mainly at the "Old" BrainTalk forum now, but always check in here to see if anything new is going on.

Please share your (or a loved ones) experience with colloid cyst with us. This is how everyone learns, and can better manage their care if they are faced with removal of the cyst.
