Default looking for any advice/info

Hello,
I just found out two days ago that I have a colloid cyst. I am only 16 years old and I must admit I am nervous. I have never actually had any serious medical problems before so this came as a bit of a shock. I was actually getting checked for a concussion when the cyst was found. So I was hoping for any and all advice you guys could give me. From what I have read I am nervous I am going to have to have surgery because I have been showing a lot of the symptoms since about the end of second quarter of school. It is now summer and the headaches have gotten worse and now last all day.

Seeing as I have only had really a day to look into this if you could give me any information you feel is a need to know that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
