Book Martin Luther King Day

How Proud and what honor. A man stolen from our country, but what a gift he gave for us and our children. NOT PERFECT as he was taken far too soon, But I was a senior in high school when he and Bobby Kennedy were taken from us.
What tumoultous times the 60's and early 70's, Kent State, the ending of the Vietnam in 73, my 1972 prom date killed a month before leave......a sweet, sweet guy I will never forget.

I was a bra burner that took and extra one to burn and kept mine on...not very outgoing person, very shy. But what a change for our nation as our generation carried on as brothers and sisters.

I think our kids are in a much better world. Thank you Mr King, Bobby and all that took their leadership.
lOVE, PEACE (no I did not go to Wood stock)

Yes, a very special man.

I didn't go to Woodstock either. I was too busy protesting the Viet Nam conflict. (And now that I'm older and everything has gone south, I wish I HAD worn my bra!)

(That's me, in the front.)

Martin Luther King, Bobby and John Kennedy, John Lennon, Princess Di...to me, some of the greatest losses the world has ever suffered.
