Hi everyone, and especially Doc,
Do you see a likelihood this storm could bring down Neurotalk (via power outage, flooding, etc)? I couldn't connect for a minute (faulty connection my end... whew), but my first thought was, "ACK! Irene has taken down Neurotalk!!!" Then, having sorted out my connection, i saw from the satellite view on weather underground that Irene's outer fringes are already creeping up on Massachusetts. Not knowing where the servers are located and whether there might be backup generators, i have to wonder if Neurotalk might, at some point, go *POOF* for a while. Maybe it seems like a stupid question... ![]() ![]() ![]() while i'd love an answer like, "our servers are titanium-vaulted 18 feet underground with 18 backup generators ![]() thanks very much in advance for whatever info you can offer. ~ waves ~ |
