Default Searching other than thread/post subjects in NT

One of the visitors was wondering how to find fellow Brits on the forums. Is there a way to do this (or find hobbies, etc) or is there a reason we wouldn't want to do that?

Hi

the search will only detect keywords in posts/threads or a member's user name. It does not detect locations or any other profile info on members.

The Advanced Search feature under Members List has fields for "Location" and "Interests". I haven't used it much but I'd expect to have trouble coming up with enough search terms to cover much of the range of answers that I'd be interested in. I've seen some Brits give their location as "UK", some as "England" or "Scotland", some as "Nottingham" or "London". If I were to search on all six of those terms, I'd still miss anyone who said "Liverpool" or "Somerset".
