how do you get in the chat room... It keeps saying my name is taken ???? i have never been in there

I see I am in the chat room , but its just the picture .. now how do I get out of there when I am not in there to click any buttons...

I don't understand your question. When you click the chat room link you get a page open up with the room selections and you can enter. When you are ready to leave, you close the page and you are out.
No-one else can use your name there as the chat rooms are only for registered members of NeuroTalk and Psych Central. It is mainly the PC members who use the chat rooms.

as already mentioned, NeuroTalk shares the chat rooms (not the forums) with Psych Central members
When you enter the chat rooms, it clearly tells you that they are shared
