Default uploading pictures

I tried to upload 3 pictures in the photo section but the system came back with messsge that there was a lackbof a security tag to contact administrator I clicked on that link and gotvresonse url not found.. will someone guide me thru getting pictures up. The files may be too big as I am using digital slr

I believe the pics in our albums in your profile have to be under 800px each. If you try to attach to a thread, a box will come up with limits allowed, but in the profile section, I don't think that box works.

If they came right off a camera, those typically are huge.. MB size. And therefore will need adjusting before uploading here.

There are free resizing programs on the net... Photobucket is one.
You can Google to find others.

Also in accessories in your PC there is a program called Paint.
It will resize photos too. When you save your photo to your hard drive it is best to use .jpg format.

If uploading to your profile album it can resize them for you -

[Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.]

Basics-
you have the pictures saved on your computer.
then go to your user CP or profile page - albums -add album -upload - then locate the pictures on your computer and click
you can let the auto resizer do it and see if they look good enough.
It has worked fine for me.
