What are the classifications? I see elder member, etc. Please explain.

There are several levels built into vBulletin.

Visitor (newbie), junior member, then member. It is based
on the number of posts you have accumulated.

There is an admin function, that allows for changing the
classification, and we had a creative mod once who put in "elder member" and maybe a few others. When a person passes away, we put up In Remembrance.

So there are automatic levels, and then others that can be designed and accessed by admins only on special occasions.
Some vBulletin forums on the net have special interests, bicycles, Native American, art, gaming, etc...so on those one can see some
interesting creative classifications based on their topic.

FYI The senior and elder members are also part of the vBulletin settings for phases of membership status as post count increases.

So the more you post, so your membership level changes. It has nothing to do with length of time you have been a member...only how many posts are made.
