Question got a question....

so what is this reputation thingy under all our names? we got naughty people with bad reputations we need to watch out for?

now y'all know...i'm a mighty good girl monkey.... so i'm a guesin' that my reputationis good? great fantastic? never without a date on saturday nights?

are we supposed to clicking that reputation thingy? or should this curious...and mischievous little monkey...not go pushing buttons around here?

do you remember slam books in junior high?

when you post a comment in the reputations you get a message hoping that you will get exactly the same message from someone else.

fortunately i awarded curious chocolate.

There's a place over on the left of every post where you can "rate" a person's post: "I approve" or "I disapprove." If hover over this (I think it might be a symbol of a scales but can't tell for sure), you find out that you have a chance to "add to" the person's reputation.

Well, you also have a chance do subtract from the person's reputation, but that isn't mentioned.

I am sorry to see a rating system creeping back in. I thought it was disposed of quite a while ago....

Oh yes, and everybody seems to have 10 points to start out with.

I noticed that. I too, thought reputation rating was gone. However, as I started looking at "empty forum formats, it seems that is an option in most. Perhaps those who started this to promote community did not notice that feature and turn it off. It's just a matter of an administrator checking off a feature and it goes away.
