Default how can we get a thread made sticky?

in epilepsy we have a very helpful thread for new posters explaining all the abbreviations we use and giving general background information on how to understand what we are talking about. rabbit has been maintaining this thread for years, adding information as people make suggestions.

we asked to have the thread made sticky as soon as that became possible. before then someone diligently bumped it several times a day.

now she has pulled it out of her hard drive and reposted it. if we could has this as a sticky it surely would save us a lot of bumping.

of course anyone who doesn't know what bumping is can read all about it on rabbit's thread.
