Wink Heheheh...

my Bday is coming up soon... but I can't publish it ...but I welcome your
thoughts anyway..

My spiffy car is not flashy at all, it is a "minivan" so we can transport all
our cats, flowers and stuff to our summer place each year. But it is red and I can have
a fantasy or two, about that! LOL Besides the POLICE don't stop red minivans as much as other red cars!
It has a CD player (never had one of those in the car) and a MP3 hookup, which I did test out, and 2 plugs for charging things...my old car only had one plug. It is only the basic model, not deluxe, but still extremely much nicer than the old one.
My brakes blew out on the trip home this Sept...and my old car died at the curb. When I went back to it, after a 400mile trip with 3 cats, to get some groceries an hour later,
the pedal went to the floor-- it had chosen to rust out at that moment. Fluid dripping into a big puddle in the street.
So my or my cats guardian angels were with me that day!.(we were spared an accident or stranding). It was too expensive to fix and keep (2 estimates of $2000), but in really good condition otherwise (only 67,000 miles), so I donated it to
Volunteers of America who can fix it more inexpensively (with volunteers) and it is going to a good home that needs transportation. A good all around
solution (but I did not get a trade on it, obviously.) We took good care of it, and it has life in it yet!

Thanks for your kind words, SS. And I did go to OBT and registered with a new name ~mrsdoubtfyre~ ..I am worried that the data will be lost... If not, I'll register back with my old moniker. Edit to add I had trouble registering, so I cleared the cookies as instructed, and was able to get my old name back. So I am mrsdoubtfyre again! <wink>

P.S. we had a 1970 Cougar, sounds like your Mustang! Only it wasn't red.
