(((Karen)))

KD has posted a thread on Caregivers Forum and also on the Sanctuary
about her concerns with a pregnant daughter who is newly dx with Graves Disease ...so it is a worrisome time for her.:(

all our thoughts and prayers are so valued by her, so thank you so much for showing you caring for her here :grouphug:

ConsiderThis 07-21-2007 04:04 PM

Ohhhh. thank you so much.

((((((((Chemar)))))))))

kimmydawn 07-21-2007 04:13 PM

I just saw this...

(((((((((((((( Karen ))))))))))))))) I responded in Sanctuary (I'm happy because) as well.

Thank you so much for caring and taking the time to say, "I notice..." you don't know what that does for my heart and I'm not prideful, so I don't hesitate to say that I need the support right now. :)

Thank you so much.

I hope you're well?

KD

Can the board add "In Pain" to the list. Just a suggestion.

Chemar 07-23-2007 06:33 AM

hi Christine
I am not sure that the moods can be added to as I think it may be a ready programmed feature in the software.

Hope your pain is less
Cheri

(((((((KimmyDawn))))))

(I just saw your message.)

I'm going to go outside in a moment and spend some time praying for you and your daughter and the baby.

ConsiderThis 07-23-2007 02:50 PM

You know what's missing in the Moods?

Grateful

Thankful

Peaceful

and I agree that something like, Hurting would be good when it affects so many.

Can moods be added?

Lara 07-24-2007 03:55 PM

Just letting DocJohn know...

The moodometre has cloned itself.
All the images are suddenly doubled.

ConsiderThis 07-24-2007 04:39 PM

Maybe it's been repaired already...

I still would love to see Thankful and Grateful added.

:)

Lara 07-24-2007 05:03 PM

Oh, maybe it's just me.

Over on the side under people's avatars where it shows My Mood: etc., it shows two of them on everybody's posts where usually it only shows one.

My Mood:
My Mood:

weird.

p.s. It's a pity they made the "mellow" so yellow. LOL

Curious 07-24-2007 05:06 PM

lara..it's you.

i only see one...but i'm not on dial up anymore! :p ( got dsl for less than what i was paying)

i really could use 2 moods though. :D

maybe somebody else will chime in.

Lara 07-24-2007 05:09 PM

Thanks so much for the reply.
I've had a few strange glitches with images on here the past fortnight.
I've got to get moving for breakfast now, so I'll clean everything out and switch off and see how it all is later when I boot up.

Chemar 07-24-2007 05:23 PM

I am seeing double moods too

Chemar 07-24-2007 05:26 PM

k
just tested

firefox is showing duplicate mood meters

IE is showing only one

Curious 07-24-2007 05:32 PM

well stop testing. now i see 2 on ie.

guess i'm wayyyyy cool now.

Jomar 07-24-2007 05:59 PM

My Firefox is showing it as normal.

Chemar 07-24-2007 06:02 PM

very very weird

it is also showing differently (ie single or duplicated) with different skins and for different browsers

AfterMyNap 07-24-2007 06:11 PM

Safari is normal. I want what you guys are taking!

Jomar 07-24-2007 06:19 PM

IE with default is normal for me
IE =chestnut and country comfort have doubles
IE= the other themes appear as normal

Firefox tests the same as IE for me - seems to be a theme glitch.

ditto for me jo.

Lara 07-24-2007 07:10 PM

ahhh.

Yes, I'm using Chestnut and Firefox. No IE on my computer.

Thanks for all the detective work. I thought it was me again. :)

Edited after Chemar just posted now to save on writing another message.

All fixed now in Chestnut too!
Thanks to "whomever" - oh great fixer of glitches.

Chemar 07-24-2007 07:59 PM

seems all fixed now for me

ConsiderThis 07-24-2007 11:47 PM

Where do you guys find these "skins" ??????

Curious 07-25-2007 12:24 AM

hi karen

there is a little tab at the very bottom left of the screen. it will say "default style" and have a little arrow tab. that is where you can change the look of neurotalk. :)

ConsiderThis 07-25-2007 09:18 AM

Oh....

Wow.

:)

And WOW again! Boy, that is a lot of variety. I see why people like chestnut :)

Thanks SOOOOOO much!

theoneRogue420 07-25-2007 03:09 PM

<SIGH> Well, I still don't even have access to any "mood" button on ANY browser! WAAAA! :Sob:

I have tested it in all four of my browsers... IE, AOL Explorer, Firefox and Opera. I have cleared cache on all of them too.

I am using the Epic theme, is that the problem? I am very confused and feeling very left out!

Lara 07-25-2007 03:26 PM

Yes, the choice button doesn't show up on the header in Epic.
Try changing to another one and then when you go back to Epic if that's what you prefer to use, then it'll still show there underneath your username and avatar. Give that a try and let us know if it works.

Edited later to add:
I had to go for a while. I've just come back and tested it in Epic. I still can't find where you can actually set your Mood in Epic, but as I said, if you set the mood with the option in one of the other themes, e.g. chestnut or default, then when you change back to Epic, the moods will all show up just fine.

Don't feel left out, I went back to the default one, because I was used to it. (Without it, it didn't feel as if I was really here.)

Though, I hope you can get it to work. :)

Thanks, the flare up is now under control. I think I will just remain twisted for a while, I like the devilish twisted look to it. :)

theoneRogue420 07-27-2007 04:08 AM

Nope! I tried changing theme, got the mood thing in default. But disappeared again when I went back to Epic. Oh well! I guess I'd rather have a theme I really like than a mood-o-meter. But both would be awesome, lol.

But now I guess I have to go back to default to change off the mood I seem to be stuck with now, lol.

Chemar 07-27-2007 06:45 AM

the mood stays under your avatar even on the themes that dont show the moodmeter ....so you can set your mood in one of the other themes and then go back to epic...and your mood will still show on the left. then, when ya need to change it again, just switch skins, change and then back to Epic.......

best solution I can think of for now

ConsiderThis 07-28-2007 01:05 PM

I'm sorry to see that you are sad, Chemar.

(I went and read KimmyDawn's thread, praying nothing extremely bad had happened there. And that looks like things are still serious, but nothing so extreme there isn't hope.)

So I hope things improve for you.

((((((((((Chemar))))))))))
.

Chemar 07-29-2007 05:49 AM

thanks Karen:hug:

we have had a time of stress and sadness here, with the death of my MIL, and now my hubby is not well......so I am a bit sad at present.

But
as with all things.....
this too shall pass......

and I can still smile :)
