Welcome, Millie and Izzy. We're glad you're here.

Millie, check this link: http://forums.braintalk2.org/forumdisplay.php?f=34

It's a link to our "Parkinson's Disease" forum. There are many posters there as well as here.

Default It is all becoming clearer by the day

Free speech is in danger in many areas of our society. Some forums no longer seem to care to hear the points of view of others who disagree with them That has sadly become the case at bt.

This site (on the other hand) alllows free speech. Long live the free speech that so many have fought and died for over the history of America and so many other countries around the world

Nice to be part of a community of people who clearly have a goal in mind and are looking for assistance in making their site the best it can be rather than smothering opinions that are opposed to theirs.

I hope to be able to offer some help to people in this site over time since the other bt seems to not care much for the opinion of people who see things and ask why and ask why other things aren't being done.

Guess offering opinions on how things can be improved at the other site is considered a challenge to the ruling authority and not allowed. Guess they have no interest in the opinion of people who are only asking that things be changed for the betterment of all. I guess that is what happens when a site is left leaderless and is losing its way.

Long live bt2. It is a bright light that should shine on for many years to come

Regards
Mister

Thank you so much for the kind words, mister.

We try very hard, and will continue to try.

We're literally a community in the making...for its members.

I myself have not even re-visited OBT since it's come back on-line. I'll likely do that just to say hello to all of my old acquaintances there, but I can't see myself ever going back on any kind of regular basis.

And Kimmy, I just have to say that you are one of the kindest, most helpful and totally involved administrators that I have ever seen on any set of forums. The way that you try so hard to avoid any kind of conflict among members and help everyone get along has impressed me to no end. Please keep up the good work!

Thank you so much, Idealist.

I do try hard to be available and present. I hope that everyone sees me as approachable as well. I'm that too.

Communication is key...on all levels.

Have a great one!
