Hello! I sympathize with your request for a larger font size on your computer, as my mother has macular degeneration and has the same dilemna. After much research, we found an option on the computer to remedy her ability to read in a larger font. The pathway to change the font size is under the control panel -> display properties -> appearance -> font size -> and you can choose either normal, large, or extra large from the drop down window. Of course, systems are different and it may be found elsewhere on your computer but should be easy to locate. Hope this helps everyone out!

P.S. FYI - this board also has a Computer and Technology forum available for questions such as this one.

4everyoung, Hello!

You can preview your post by hitting the PREVIEW POST button which is next to the SUBMIT REPLY button and you can make changes from there.

As far as the default font size on the forums which everyone sees unless they change the font size in there post as you did ... Very LARGE, I can see it quite well, Thank you. ... I don't think it can be changed. But you can change the "skin" on these forums which will change the colors and how the screen is displayed on your computer. You may find one that is more readable because of the colors and contrast.

You can do this by scrolling down on the main index page on the far left side, click on the drop down menu and select a different theme... I think there are are five or six choices, I don't remember.

Oh, and here is a link where it was discussed before...

http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread35524.html

Hmm, there was a sticky thread on the forums from Doc John about the skins, but I don't see it anymore.

I hope I helped a little.

Hope

You can also change the size of the message you're viewing by holding down the control key & at the same time using the scroll on your mouse.

Font sizes and Theme/skin/style info

If the whole forum font s are too small you can make the browser fonts larger in the browser view settings or the options/preferences/tools area of your browser.

Some of our theme choices are easier to read for some people too so you might try those.

Theme, Skin, Style info: we have 7 styles to try

at the very bottom of the pages
{from main forum home page is the best way to try changes http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/index.php
-or in User CP}

there is a drop down list in the lower left bottom of the page -
click and try them to see if you like the other looks better.

If you have any follow up questions- or if this didn't help you here's the link to our Computer and Tech forum-
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum36.html
or you can just PM me.
I"ll make a sticky on the Computer forum with tips like this.
