Hell I hear John left a sweater at the old site lets go get that too.

Now it is getting really ridiculous.

You can't be serious about this....can you?

Weren't you the one complaining that there were only some forum topics here, or was that sarcasm? There are some forums listed that aren't here that I would like to see medical information on. Others have stated that their disease of choice isn't listed.

I've never heard of 90% of the diseases listed above, and I doubt many of them were frequented often, if ever. They were probably taken from a neuro disease list.

BT could come back tommorow, but personally I have no interest in returning there. If nothing more, than the outpouring of paranoia and demanding attitude that I have seen here. I'm a patient person, but not that patient. I know my limitations.

Others that I've invited here from the old BT forum have read here and said no thx. Not because they think their precious BT had been stolen, but rather it brought out the worst of what they remembered from BT and why they seldom went there either.

You may not care to stay here, but many of us do. We're looking to build a community where some familar faces want to park themselves and discuss neuro disease. I don't happen to know what diseases they want, so I copied the list.

I don't understand your point.

Thank you Dorry for finding the list.

Personally, I would like to see an Autoimmune forum here.

There were a lot of forums at BT for specific Autoimmune diseases, but I don't see the need for that here (yet) but a general autoimmune forum would be a nice addition in my opinion.

your welcome wittesea. I'd like to see these forums, if there are other members with similar problems.

Autonomic Disorders
Coronary Disease and Neurology
Sleep Disorders or Insomnia
Panic Disorders from Arrythmias or otherwise

Alot of autonomic disorders have overlapping symptoms and many diseases may have similar symptoms that patients could share info on how to cope. I agree with your suggestion that a group of disorders could be classified in one related category.

I tend to not be a medication taker because of allergic reactions, so I would love to converse with ppl that manage their symptoms without medication.

Those would be some of my choices.

I'd think looking at the top thirty or so most active old forums would provide a good base, and then people could request additional forums be opened if they saw or had a need. I pulled the number thirty out of the hat...might be more....but I'd imagine there are some that could go. I agree that a lot of them were empty and served little purpose..of course, empty forums don't cause many problems either. A forum doesn't need to have a lot of members to be useful. So, I guess that came full circle...lol.

I agree with Wittesea, as too many forums for specific disoders make life complicated IMO, plus many of us with Neuro. disorders also seem to have Autoimmune problems and a specific forum for them as they often over-lap may be very useful.
