I haven't been able to add graphics from my computer to my posts for the past couple of months? I stopped doing it and have mostly just used the smiley graphics provided for birthday greetings.

I'm another one having problems.

I've have been having trouble uploading photos to my album for the past week or so.

I keep getting Invalid File message.....just tried again today.

same here...

I am wondering if the forum uses split server for the photos and is having firewall/server issues?
(server issues meaning some codec update has either been updated but not modified or just not updated, or many of the other issues that I totally don't know nor understand...LOL)

or, the photo monsters are hiding in the corner and everytime we upload photos, they are eating them thus creating alternative source to power the NT forum...

Everyone already tried clearing browser's cache to see if that helps?

log out and then log back in fresh?

I have my Firefox browser & Flock browser set to clear cache & most cookies when I close them.

I don't use Microsoft IE very often, but here is some info on the settings for it -

[TipTip: You can adjust your Internet Explorer 6 settings to automatically clear the cache whenever you close Internet Explorer 6.
Go to the Tools menu, and click Internet Options.
Click the Advanced tab. In the "Settings" box, scroll down to the section labeled "Security," and click to check the box next to the "Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed" option. Click OK to finish. This option does not delete cookies, but it will clear your cache of other files when you close your browser.]

Yep! Done all that, and I'm using Firefox. Maybe I should try IE and see if that makes any difference!

I use MS I.E. 7, didn't clear the cache or do anything special, and had no problem just (as in a few moments ago) uploading a photo to one of my albums.

I also had no prob. deleting the photo (since it's not one I want to leave online).

I am using IE 7 as well..

I am wondering if there is something funky going on with the server itself...

who moi 08-09-2008 01:17 AM

I just tried to upload my profile picture...no go..

it worked the other day though...

It would work on and off for me...and I stay faithful to the file size, tried uploading from my desk top, serving it from photo site, blah blah blah...

I think it might be temp glitches and some of us just upload it at the glitch times?

not sure...

My server is obviously different to any that you guys are using, seeing I'm in the Land of Oz.
