Do you think you might remove the link in your post though? Since that's how they take your money (presumably, I didn't click on it), I'm worried that someone might click on it and there might be some problem for members because of it.

Just thinking it might be a good idea to get rid of the link in the email.

When you get Visa spoof emails like this, forward them to phishing@visa.com and let Visa's lawyers chat with them. And forward fake ebay emails to spoof@ebay.com and so on. Corporations get quite cranky when people commit fraud in their name.

scammers are everywhere.

hubby and i own a business. ( a physical business, not an online one ) i have a web site for that business and company emails addy's. just this week i got an email with an invoice attached from what looked like one of our regular advertisers.

what caught my attention was that they have never sent an invoice this way. the scammer had used the actual name of the advertising rep as the email addy. the email asked that the credit card info including the 3 digit security code be filled out on the invoice and emailed back.
