Thanks, firemonkey! Is it my imagination, or is this thread getting rather heavy on the simian side!
Hugs,

I'm a western Capricorn and a Chinese fire monkey which probably explains why i'm emotionally erratic.

Thanks for the banana, I probably need the potassium. Speaking of bananas, I love them frozen, then blended with soymilk for a 'milkshake'. Closest I can get anymore to ice-cream!

Hugs,

Thanks for the link firemonkey. It is a good one I've used myself in the past, but lost track of it. It will be nice to have it handy in useful websites, and I'm going to include it on my favorite links page, too. Thanks~

Loisba~ I'm not sure what your dietary limitations are (assuming cow's milk is out ?), but have you ever seen or tried this new rice based ice cream? Skip intro; choose products, then pints. Wow...they've even added a couple new flavors since I tried it last. This tastes like the real thing, unlike some of the other ice cream substitutes.

Thanks, Cara! I'm lactose intolerant. My daughter did treat me once to some kind of ice cream I could eat. It may have been soymilk based, since That's what I use now for my cereal. I'm beginning to wonder if I may not also have a gluten sensitivity problem, too. I get a lot of gas and diarreah, though I'm not sure that gluten is the culprit. I had radiation treatment for cancer 6 years ago, and it left me with quite a bit of bowel scarring. Some things I just have to look at, like candy, and I get the big D!! And forget about fruit. I only eat it when I can spend the day close to a bathroom.
Hugs,
