I am glad you could post this. Another reason to stay out of
the other if it ever returns.

Default I'm really sorry some have had these problems...

Regarding the chatroom there... I visit that chatroom. In fact the old, older, oldest version was where I made some lifelong friendships in the TS chatroom there. Some weekends, we had over 20 people there. I'd been directed there via search engine when I was looking for information differentiating chorea from tics. That was back in about early '98 or so. I forget now, too long ago. The amount of information that was shared via that chatroom was in my opinion greater and more valuable than anything else I've seen in all my time on the internet, mainly because it was spontaneous. I know a lot of people aren't fond of chats, but I just have to say that chats can be a very helpful tool.

I'm sorry people have had bad experiences there. I've had a few myself! lol However, I really have to say that I'd hate to see people feeling guilty or something for using those chats there because there are truly wonderful, kind and caring people who visit there.

Sure, sometimes the mood there doesn't suit my mood. I live in a totally different timezone anyway, so when I'm bright and chirpy, most people are tired after a long day or from their pain or something else. Sometimes when others are bright and chirpy and I'm not, it's sometimes a good thing because it can be contagious. It's all give and take. There are times when it's nice to be taken away from the worries of everything else for a moment and enjoy happy company. I've noticed when I've used it that if someone comes in with a serious issue, people have tried to help. I've read other messages here where people say that's not happened and I'm truly sorry that's been the case. I've maybe felt the same way at times myself.

I've had a lot of illhealth this past year with myself and also my daughter and found myself in a position where I didn't have access to my computer for a couple of lenghty periods of time. I also use dialup from way over here, so get booted (kicked) out of there a lot at times. I'm not sure why I've had so many problems with the actual chat programme since it was set-up long time back, but it seems more stable now and I don't get booted as much.

The set-up isn't as great for information sharing as the old ones used to be, mainly because the screen starts afresh when one logs in, so it's no longer possible to leave informational websites or messages for new people to find when they log in there. I find it jerky and difficult to follow sometimes as well, but I'm going to continue to talk to my friends there and hope people might understand why I would be doing that. I'm really not interested in going there for gossip or talking about something I know nothing about and I've personally seen nothing like that at the times I've been in there lately so I'm grateful for that.

I can't see that it would be a disgruntled MOD from BT, surely they would know how to post a pic?

BUT It does look like the work of another poster that gets jealous of others getting attention when they don't.
