I've got myself in a mess again. I thought I could benefit by making the text larger so it would be much easier to read. Anyone over 40yrs old knows what I mean. Anyway now I have this monsterous text and I can't find what I did to make it larger. HELP............Can someone tell me what I should do?
Thank you, Doodle bug7 |

there can be a few ways to reset text size.
#1 go up to the tool bar and click View slide down to Zoom and then slide to Reset. #2 Or you can press CTRL - { the minus sign button} each press of the minus button should make the text smaller the plus sign makes it bigger Or if you were in the display settings of your computers control panel and made text larger there then we can work thru that also. but try the View or the ctrl - first Or if you changed sizes in your browser settings...we can work on that if it is the case.

Hi Jo*mar. Thank you so much for helping me. Yes, I got in the control panel with one thing in mind, to make the text larger, but only a little bit. I got more than I bargained for. I can not find a way out now. I keep going in circles.
All the best, Doodle bug7 |

Here's some web pages that should help you - I'll check back later this evening to see if they helped.
http://www.microsoft.com/enable/trai...ppearance.aspx vista- http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-change-font-size the advanced dpi setting - click the little ruler to slide it to what looks best - right now mine it is set at 104% http://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-xp-t...on-windows-xp/ [DPI (dots per inch) settings control the images resolution on your computer, the higher the DPIs the sharper the image will be. You can change the DPI settings to fit your liking. On windows XP right-click on an empty area on your desktop and go to properties>settings>advanced] microsoft page about it- http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true

I had no idea the Ctrl key along with the + or - would change the size of the text. Thanks! I've been increasing and decreasing my text all afternoon now!!

did any of those places look like where you made the first changes at?
If you can recall what specific area you were in at the first size change I can start there and try to help figure it out. I'm not sure if a system restore to before the fonts size were changed will make them go back to normal... ![]() It might be worth a try to do a system restore if you can recall the date before the font size was changed. Are the icons and everything big or only fonts? If everything is big maybe you changed the resolution of the screen? http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d....mspx?mfr=true
