My HP Deskjet 9670 has two lights blinking... Power and Sheetfeed. It tells me there is a jammed. I have taken the back off and checked... no jam. I can push the sheet feed button and feed a page through. But it continues to blink.
I've try unplugging it and reinstalling software... can't get rid of the blinks. Anyone have any ideas of what to try? I've gone to the HELP? but can't find anything about it. Thanks!

can you still print things , does everything else with the printer work OK ?
If you can print normally and all the printer features work maybe it is just a blinky light malfunction instead of a problem with the printing or paper. some details at this site- http://www.printersupplies.com/errors.html https://www.fixya.com/secure/tags/printer_power

Jomar,
It won't print anything. The only thing I can do is feed sheets through. I will look at the websites. Thanks so much.

the first site talks about even though the paper jamb is fixed, that the parts or rollers/grippers might be worn or dirty or misaligned.
If you can take a light and inspect all those parts as best you can , you might find the cause. one HP i got at a thrift store just had a little guide flipped the wrong way- I just noticed it and flipped it back and it worked fine. You might also go to the HP website and see if there is an updated driver or software for it. how old is it? sometimes they just wear out & break too.

It probably nine years old. I just hate to think about replacing this one because it's a large format so it's a little more expensive. I've gotten a LOT of good out of it.
I'm going to take a flashlight and try to check it out tomorrow in the daylight. That is a good tip. Thanks again!

Try turning off and rebooting?
After the reboot try printing a "test" page.
