Default No Outlook Express in Windows 7!

Letting those who don't know. Ordered a pc for my father and just read Windows 7 doesn't work or come with express, have to buy Outlook or Office? for $100? That stinks! Would've doubled the $ and went Mac.

My DH tells me if you go to openoffice.org you can download a free office suite - word processing and spread sheet programs and more.

Download and install the Thunderbird email program by Mozilla.
And If you haven't tried FireFox as your browser ...download it too, and I think you'll like both of those better than the Microsoft products.

main page for both -

Firefox info-

I have used open office instead of MS Office for years now also.
