Default IE9 Beta

I am a bit of a die hard Firefox user, but this beta is pretty impressive (fast) at rendering web pages.

Hello,
There is a down side to IE9 it won't be available for XP use, guess Microsoft is really pushing Win7, since all I can get is dialup, will stay with IE7 XP SP3 and can always use Firefox, Opera.

Yeah I noticed that stagger, just links for Win7 and Vista.

XP is still still performing well for an OS that was released over 9 years ago.

*cough* light years ahead of Vista! *cough*

Oh, thanks for mentioning that about not for XP -
I didn't read all of the info about the new IE9.

Yep good ole XP, stills works just fine for me.
When it does finally go bye bye with no support -

I'll convert 100% to a Linux OS - I have a dual boot system already.

The newest Ubuntu OS will scan and copy over your documents & photos from XP {probably all windows products} during the install.

That was nice to have it done for me automatically, the other versions I would have had to add those myself if I wanted them on the Linux side.

I also like Mepis Linux - have it on my older laptop.

I've tried it and it works well, user friendly with windows 7. Only real drawbacks I have found so far with being a beta / new is most secured sites like banks etc, won't work with it.
