Default Another thing that works plus additional tips

After you've cleaned out and about ... those handy disinfect
wipe cloths ... works - I keep my keyboard and mouse clean.

PS: In case if you didn't know this, if you have an optic mouse,
it can actually work better if you dabbed a little car wax on bottom
of mouse (oh what the heck, wax your whole mouse - LOL) - and then
wipe it with a soft cloth without letting the car wax get dry at all.
Not only will it glide smoothly; it also makes it easier to keep clean as
well.

Does it work on keyboard? Depends on your patience - if you can
afford cheap cotton swabs, work a small section at a time (laptops/
notebooks/Wi-Fi are often crammed together which makes it easier,
and you can wax it all except the LCD,HD LCD, HDMI screen and stay
away from the speakers and Web-Cam if you know where it is. It will
look new and act as a protective "cover".

IT DOES PAY to make it a habit of keeping a nice wash-cloth nearby
the computer just for that sole purpose as well as a soft cloth (to
prevent damages) in case of spills. How to respond in an emergency?
If spilled on the keyboard? Pull out the washcloth and immediately
tip over the keyboard upside down and shut down the computer or
log off ... so you can clean up your mess. Tapping the keyboard at
least once a month (upside down) on a newspaper will get dust bunnies
and things you didn't know that was in there.

PS: Don't forget to clean your computer tower too - fans collect dust,
and always make sure you unplug it and if you don't know how, get your
kids to do it or someone else to do it - for it puts a tremendous stress
on your computer if it isn't clean, especially in the cooling system and
motherboard as well as components. I do mine 5-6 times a year; for I
keep mine that sparkly clean!
