It's MS Word. It's two documents that I have saved. I will do what you suggested Jo and see what happens. Because of the Big Blizzard in Brooklyn, my new modem did not arrive yet. So far, the Internet is holding. Went out once this morning, re-set the modem. Went out once tonight. Alan re-booted the computer, which re-synched up everything. Sigh!!!! some day I'll be rich, get a laptop, get a wireless connection and pay per month and I won't have to worry about wired stuff. One can only hope. Will update soon Thank you very much melody

When I choose delete, it prompts me "do I want to send this to recycle bin". I choose yes, and GUESS WHAT HAPPENS. It deletes it and opens up another Microsoft Word Document. So even if I delete one document, ANOTHER ONE OPENS UP. I tried doing the MS Word option, and unchecking the task bar stuff. We'll see if that worked once I reboot. This is nuts. Melody
