Default How do you unfriend 50 people at once on Facebook?

This ordinarily would be a stupid question. I know how to unfriend one at a time. I took over my husband's facebook account and he had strangers as friends (he belonged to some club) I don't want my own account anyway so I use his once in a while. He now has 53 friends (who he doesn't know and he doesn't use this account anyway).

So is there a way to unfriend many people at once, or do I have to keep unfriending one at a time?

This is 2011, there has to be a way.

Thanks much

Melody

click the account thing on the upper right corner and go to edit friends,,
I think you can just go down the list and remove them.

And that's exactly what I did. THANK YOU!!!!! I now have 5 friends and no strangers. So I'm good to go.

Now here's another question. Since I am learning how to post things on my wall (I can do videos, I can do photos, I can do links), I'm getting there in the learning department, what does one do when one posts a comment with a link and then you find that the link you posted is not working, or you simply don't want it on your wall anymore.

How does one UNPOST something? Is this possible?

Thanks VERY much

Melody

I Think - if you move your cursor to the right (where your post/link is) a box will appear that has an 'x' and if you click on that it will 'UN-post' your unwanted post......

......I'm learning too...... so, don't quote me on this

You're a GENIUS. Now I know how to do these things.

One more challenge for you guys. And it's a beauty.

Every time I bring up Facebook on my browser (All I have to do is click on the word Facebook), and it brings me to my husband's NEWSFEED page. I then have to go to the left, click on my husband's name and THEN I get to his home page on facebook.

I have looked and tried to find ways to bypass this Newsfeed thing.

It's not a big thing, it's just that I would like to know how to change the settings so that when I want to go to Facebook, Alan's NEWSFEED page does not pop up. Just Alan's home page on Facebook.

This is so cool.

Just heard from Chemar, I thought if I hit the reply button in my email inbox I could reply to these posts via email. I found that I cannot. Oh well, no big thing.

Upper right corner: Home, Profile, Account
Home is newsfeed, profile is things yo have posted, account is where you change settings, etc. I

set a hot bookmark to the one I want when I log on. I share my laptop with my partner, so we get a drop-down menu, which we have set through Firefox to remember our passwords. Quick -- easy! Too easy . . . can't ope the laptop without checking in on FB anymore!!! LOL!

Or just make a new bookmark with the page you want to open.
Go to the page you want to FB to start on and do the "bookmark this page".

then delete the other bookmark now that you have the new one.
