There is no toolbar, there is no File, edit view.

All I have at the top of my Flock is a left arrow, a right arrow, a little house, then the Star, and rectangle with a little thing at the bottom, then the url place, and over, way over, on the right on top is two little icons.

When I hover my mouse on the left one a little message pops up that says "Customize and Control flock" and the one right next to it says: "close the Flock Sidebar" which I can't do because it's not THERE!!!!!

lol

Did you try clicking on the "Customize and Control flock" icon?

see this page- http://www.flock.com/user-guide/3.5.0/index.html

or try the flock support for answers.

I went back to the older version, so I don't have the new one installed anymore.

Well, I clicked on customize and support. Did a few things, cleared my cache, set flock as my default browser BUT NO SIDEBAR STUFF.

Oh well, I'll keep trying.

lol

Okay, I just went to the Flock information page and it said I had to configure my accounts. I took that to mean I had to link Facebook and youtube and link them to Flock. I went to the home page and found that they were indeed linked. but to make sure I signed in to each one. I then expected to see a side bar on the right of my screen. Still no side bar. And when I click on the open or close sidebar button at the top, NOTHING HAPPENS.

So I have flock which is supposed to work with Facebook and youtube, but I still have no sidebar.

I just might do what you did and go back to an earlier version of flock, but I don't know why I have to do this.

I'm going to contact the people at Flock. but I hear they have awful customer service.

Oh well

Mel
