Default Anyone else having a problem with Flock?

I have not been able to sign on ALL day. I used Mozilla and found a flock message board and no one is able to sign in.

If anyone has heard anything, let me know, and I'll pass on the info.

Flock seems to be dead in the water.

I wonder what happened. I looked to see if they were based in Japan but they are out of California and British Columbia. It doesn't say anything on their website about being based in Japan.

That would have been completely understandable. The other users are going nuts because they can't use Flock.

So if anyone knows why Flock is down, please post, okay??

Thanks much

Melody

I just checked and it seems to be online & functioning now.

When ever that happens to FF or any other browser - I just switch and use one of the other ones I have installed ( IE , FF or Flock) - all my bookmarks are imported so they all have the same favs /bookmarks except for an very new ones that I have added .

There is also -

Google Chrome http://www.google.com/chrome

Opera - http://www.opera.com/
I had Opera for awhile but it is kind of intensive and has a lot of settings that were not easy to navigate.

I found some others and will be installing & testing them -

http://download.cnet.com/SlimBrowser...-10101563.html

Want to know why I like Flock (when Flock works, I mean). I don't have to sign into anything. I set it up so that when I go on Flock, I am signed into whatever message boards I belong to, whatever facebook page I want to see, my email account, well, no more signing in. I click on a favorite and whoosh, I'm there.

When I was using Mozilla, well Alan has over 1000 favorites and it's too complicated to go and sort through them and find my folders, etc.

This Flock makes going on the web MUCH faster and easier, especially because I don't have to constantly put in user id's and passwords.

I will check into Comodo however. I had never heard of this browser.

thanks much

Melody

It's just nice to have a second one handy or 3rd..
just in case.

I set up & used all three of those I linked to and they are all nice.
Comodo was the most simple & basic for set & use.

The other 2 just had a few more settings to look though but you could just use them as is, but I like to go thru all settings and check them out.

Melody was having troubles with her Flock web browser.

I listed some others that are available to download and use for free and of course there are the more well known ones = Microsoft IE, Mozilla Firefox & Opera.

With Flock open - up at the top - File, Edit, View etc
Click on View and slide down to Sidebar - then select the one you want.

Or if your version has a different layout just find the View and click that should show the sidebar there somewhere.
