I am assuming that you have Windows.

Go to the control panel. then Add/remove programs. look for Bing in that list, and click UNINSTALL. the machine will do the rest.

bing is the search engine by Microsoft - it isn't a program you need to install or uninstall.

If you can give more info we can help better.
But the links below might be what you need.

What browser are you using - IE8?
What version of windows - XP, Vista, win 7?

do you want to change the home page from bing to something else?
If so - to what Google, another search engine or some other website?

How to change browser search provider -

How to make Home page changes - this is the first page that shows when you open your browser to go online.

I found out that bing was not a program to install or uninstall right away-that was my first mistake. Anyway I do intend to make Google my search engine and home page.
I have windows, Vista with IE8. I still need time to go through all the info you sent. Won't be long now. Thenk you so very much for
your help. I'll see what I can do. Doodle bug7

speaking of Bing....

We just installed FireFox 4.0... and it added Bing to our quick search bar window at the top of the page, where we search amazon, and IMDB, and other places like that. It just added Bing by itself!

We keep Google our homepage, as that is fastest for us.
FaceBook is now offering a link to make THEM you homepage!
That won't be in our future however!

Sorry to get back so slow but I had a total shoulder replacement surgery with one night in the hospital. I can peck a little but that is it.
I'll catch up as soon as things improve. Doodle bug7
