Where are all these millions of viruses that people keep harping on about.

I have picked up 2 viruses in the 14+ years I have been online and both times it was me not paying attention to the fact that I was clicking on an exe and not an avi. :rolleyes:

P.S. And I have been to some dodgy sites in my time! :eek: :o

Yes I know, old thread but exciting and important topic: using Linux to take back control of your computer.

Ubuntu 10.4 LTS(Long Term Support) is not as 'cutting edge' as 11.04/11.10 but it's stable and up to date.

Choose from the two versions of Desktop according to the hardware you have. If in doubt the PC (Intel x86) desktop CD will be just fine, for any modern Intel or AMD hardware.
