There is a domain name registrar called Network Solutions (NSI). I think it's Network Solutions Incorporated.
There is another NSI in computer terms and that is Name Service Interface (NSI). Someone else might know more about what that means. If I find some sort of definition I'll post it. [There is also an NIS (not NSI though).. Network Information Service] p.s. again... if you ever need to define something, a good trick is to go to google and type in define colon and then the thing you want to find. "define: the word or phrase" http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=e...G=Search&meta= |

You're very welcome.
It's a really handy feature. There are some others, but I'm not quite awake yet. I'll post them when I can remember them. lol editing 1 hour and 8 minutes later................. Bob, there's more in google help http://www.google.com/help/features.html Actually there are all these things in there I didn't know about that would make things easier for me when searching. I think I knew this one below at some stage but had forgotten all about it. e.g. "The word "site" followed by a colon enables you to restrict your search to a specific site. To do this, use the site:sampledomain.com syntax in the Google search box. For example, to find admission information on Stanford's site, enter:"admission site:www.stanford.edu" etc. etc. etc. Last edited by Lara; 03-09-2007 at 05:29 PM. |
