Default I had a ball at Best Buy today!!

Alan and I were at Kings Plaza in Brooklyn for our podiatry appointments. We go there and return via Access a ride.

So after our appointments we went into the brand new Best Buy that had just opened up.

I said 'Let's see what the latest computer gadgets are"

Well!!!! I was looking at laptops and I ask the guy "I know that they get hot, what do we need to keep it cooler (just in case I ever get one).

He takes me over to this cooling pad that plugs into the laptop and it costs only $19.95

So I made a mental note (If Melody ever gets a laptop, she gets a cooling pad too).

Then!!!!! I walk over to what I thought was a giant monitor and I'm looking for the tower part and I call the help guy over and I said "Excuse me, where's the rest of the computer?" and the guy goes "Right here"

I said "Right where?" and the guy bursts out laughing and said 'THIS is the computer"

I said 'WHAT is the computer"?????.

He takes my hand, puts it on the monitor and says 'No more tower"

I said 'Get outta here".

I'm looking and he goes "And you're going to love this"

He touches the screen and up comes the internet.

I look at him and he says "you don't even need a keyboard"

I said "Oh yeah, how do I get on Facebook?"

He goes 'Write it on the monitor"

So there was Melody WRITING ON THE FRONT OF THE MONITOR and I wrote

FACEBOOK.COM and with my finger, touched the ENTER button and WHAM, I was on Facebook.

So I'm touching this and going here and I'm learning all the bells and whistles, and Alan walks up to me and says 'We have to leave for the Access a ride"

And I looked at him and I said "Are you kidding, we have 30 minutes, go and play one of the games or something, I'm having a ball, look at this."

Well I was in LOVE, and it only cost $1100.

So some day if I ever win $1100.00 I'll dream.

Honestly, this is like a toy for me. I prefer a keyboard (they did have a cordless mouse, and the guy explained "this whole system is done wirelessly so if you bought it you'd have to buy a router".

So today I learned about the latest tech things and I had a ball at Best Buy.

Next money I have my next podiatry appointment.

Guess where I'm going after the appointment?

ROFL.

So FUN!!!!!

Ahhhhh.... Best Buy.... The grown-ups Playground!!!

So glad you had fun!!!!

I've seen those new all-in-one computers on tv but haven't gotten the chance to play with one yet.... I better stick to dreamin' about one cause if I see one... I know I will want one.

Hi.

I swear to god I was like a kid in a candy store. On the other side of the store there were these teens playing the Wii and Playstation and dancing, and I was in my own little piece of heaven writing on screens and going oooooohhhh!!!

ROFL.

I make the rounds from the computers to the video games to the big screen tv's.... I love playing video games... when I can, but can't play them for very long... too much flashing of the screen.

But if the kid's are there with the loud thumping bass music going I have to leave... it causes too much pain for my RSD to handle.

I wonder if I can make it to Best Buy tomorrow.... I do have to find time to go to Wal-Mart for some things... hmmmm... I wonder if I can find someone around here that wants to go too.... (I never go out alone.)

Oh, I have a good tip to pass on to you. At breakfast this morning, I met this guy who was working on his laptop. We got to talking. He said "I never buy anything before I go to a website called "Fatwallet.com"

I went home, went to fatwallet.com and looked around and saw that drugstore.com was having a penny sale day today.

You click on the drugstore.com penny icon and you are whisked away to drugstore.com and you can select 2 items to get for one penny each. Shipping is $5.99

So in 5 minutes, I bought a 17 oz bottle of body wash (natural, cruelty free) with no preservatives etc, and a shampoo (same cruelty free, etc.). I got these two items for 2 pennies and $5.99 shipping

So THAT WAS COOL!!

I then went to Amazon.com and found that these items sell for over ten bucks each.

So, boy did I get a cool deal. I gather that every day some company has promos on this fatwallet.com and from now on I will always CHECK before I make ANY purchase.

Give a look.

Melody

If you're like me you and like to tinker around with computer hardware..this computer wouldn't do much (for me) anyway. Because everything is integrated..I mean yeah, that's a cool design that it's an all in one design..but if something were to go or break and you can't really fix it yourself..say like with a tower computer..which is something I like to do.
