Does it have multiple tabs - so you can have the NT open on one page/tab and open a new page/tab to look for a url?

I'm not sure if you mean that you go away from the ipad to get a url somewhere else?
or look for one on the ipad - and then when you come back to the NT page all is gone??

If the ipad browser has a setting for cookies and allowing some to be saved - that might help by adding the NT url into the allowed/saved list.

I'm not that familiar with ipads or Apple products.
