How do you put captions on photos? I don't mean UNDER the photo, but actually ON the photo itself?

That has to be done with a graphic program that has "text" in its tools.

One would load the photo in.... as new file, then select "text" in the tool bar, choose color and font size/style and it will give a box to type in. Once going with this tool, it usually will allow you to move etc until you finalize that letter or word or phrase.

Usually some computers come with a basic program and most PCs have Paint from MS in the accessories portion of your programs list.

This photo is one I did from a photo in 2007 of our old cats who passed last winter. It was a simple thing.

Thank you. I need to practice, can't figure out how to get the font bigger/different or why it looks fuzzy...

It's not so much fuzzy B2U, but it's a different font to what you're probably used to.

I do all my editing using PhotoBucket. It's free to download, and you can do lots to your own pictures with their tools. You can also find nice greetings for all occasions, like Birthdays

Changing size and type of font, may be on the page somewhere else from the the tool selection.

Mine is in a bar across the top when I click the tool on the left
side. It only activates when I select the "text" tool.

Don't be afraid to practice or move around. Control + Z will undo your last command in most programs.
