Default Windows XP replacement CD info & link

I finally found where to go on Microsoft.com to request replacement CDs.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/302822

you'll have to wait a while but then when the person answers all you need to do is answer some questions and give your info.

They'll send you a new CD with the service pack upgrades.
{I asked about that since my original CD is having update/upgrade issues}

And the total cost was only 28.00 {cost of repl CD & shipping}

Cool! Thank you for finding the info. about the replacement platform CD (though I still have my original, yet) ... what I would like to attain is the CD with the service pack upgrades. (I had a heck of a time with mine, too, until my computer was intro'd to a high-speed connection at friend's house; I don't want to go through that again ).
