Default copy and paste

My problem is: I know how to copy and paste and I have done my share of using it. Suddenly, nothing I copy will paste. Images, paragraphs will not copy. There has to be something to update or read that will help me. I just don't know what to do. Can someone give me an idea to use? Thank you

Something must have changed or scambled your settings..

Windows?
What version XP, Vista, Win7?
or other

Is it happening with each way to use cut/paste?

mouse right click options

keyboard - Ctrl + v and Ctrl + v

Edit section in the Menu/tool bar

I use the mouse or the kb short cuts the most.

Have you tested it on a webpage and on a document you have on your computer, both places and none works at all?

Default Happy now

I got it solved with ctrl+v and it is vista. I didn't realize that it could be done like. I'm happy now and thank you so very much.

Default Re: copy and paste

I'm glad you already solved it.

I was going to recommend keeping track of what's on your "clipboard" (or whatever Vista calls it). Windows 98 had the "clipboard viewer"; Windows XP's "clipbook viewer" did exactly the same thing; and I'd hope Microsoft would've kept up the tradition in Vista, 7, and whatever might be next.

If you thought you'd copied something but the clipboard viewer said you hadn't, you'd know the problem had to be with the Copy function. If the clipboard viewer showed you had copied it successfully but nothing pasted, the problem would have to be at the Paste end instead.
