hi stumps. Can't help you on the flash chat, other than maybe the rooms were empty. ie: nothing to click on to enter.

I've never seen quick reply work, but it's supposed to let you enter a reply without advanced features like smilies, etc. It must be disabled on this forum, because the screen shows the quick reply box, but nothing is clickable.

I take that back, quick reply does work on here. It enables the text box on teh bottom of your viewing page (minus advanced features), rather than open a new window for your reply.

kinda handy!

Up towards the very top of the chat screen is a box with the room name in it. To the right of the box is an arrow. Click the arrow, highlight the room, and then click the "go" button (at least I think it's the go button) that is on the right side.

Default ZS and Dorry

sorry to trouble you again but please could I have the link to the temporary chat room set up by ZS..
BT flashchat is going rather wrong again at 8.00am UK time..rather spooky..the bar where you enter a message stays blank but I typed a message and it appeared in the room..the room bar at the top of the screen also was blank and some of the function buttons are not working..DH was there and ran a test but couldn't find a problem but others apparently are having trouble..Yes I did log out then re-entered just in case..
I forgot to store the link to the temporary site...
