Anyone know which format I need to get my ticker working? This is the one I uploaded from a ticker countdown for my upcoming vacation.
I did it on the old Brain talk no problems but can't figure out this one when I cut and paste the format they give me. There were three formats, this one, a V-bulletin, and http, not sure the third. Here is what I pasted and uploaded: 1. http://tickers.TickerFactory.com/ezt...ccf3/event.png pasted..... 2. Any thoughts? Dianne

Hi, Dianne. It's good to meet you.
I don't know what might be going on. It's within the specifications required by the site (size, etc.). Would you like me to try to get it going for you? Let me know. KD

Hi Di
Copy and paste this into your signature and then replace the *s with ] [url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/*[img]http://tickers.tickerfactory.com/ezt/d/4;10701;3/st/20061019/e/Our+Disney+Vacation/k/ccf3/event.png[/img*[/url* |

I have seen members who are non-moderators who have pictures in their signature.... I can't find one right now, but I know I saw a few just last night.
Is it possible that once a person has the title of "member" (rather than "junior member") that they are then allowed to post a picture in their signature? Or did they use the 'attatch a picture' option when creating their signature?

But I discovered:
There is a command after you upload your sig pic.. it appears in blue. It says "insert signature picture". You click on that and it puts the [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] command in your signature, and it appears then in the big box that is above the upload graphic box. Am I getting thru? It is hard for me to explain. If you see [SIGPIC] in your signature box, the graphic should show up on your posts. It is tricky, but I managed both the "mrsD" banner and a short text. There is a limit however on size, and it is pretty small. Some of my earlier choices were rejected. It took me several days to figure this one out.

in early Sept.
I could not TYPE [img] commands into the signature box. It won't accept them. You upload the pic you want, and it has size restrictions, using the upload feature at the bottom of the signature screen. Then you click the insert picture statement and it puts a [SIGPIC] command in for you in the big box. You can't do that yourself. When I tried, it failed. So the ticker you upload has to be small...the 100x500 pixels is not a big graphic. You can put your ticker on Photobucket I would assume and link directly to it in each post (not in the sig) if you want. I don't know however if it continues in time, while sitting in Photobucket? Does the tickerfactory allow linking? If so you should be able to link to it, since there are two choices... I used upload from my computer. I made my "mrsD" at Flamingtext.com and saved it to my computer. You know I am afraid to touch it now.... it was that trickey to do!
