I also use Chrome but here's what I did. I opened up Internet Explorer, pasted the URL for the PDF file in the address bar, and brought up the PDF file, and then clicked on the upper left where it says FILE, I selected SAVE, and I put it on my desktop.

So even before I get this little toy, I now have a tutorial.

And can you believe that for the previous minute I am typing letters like PDF, URL, FILE , save. And I knew how to put a PDF file on my desktop. THERE IS HOPE FOR HIS OLD BIRD YET!!!
