Okay, I just checked. All options were ENABLED so I can receive emails and pm's.

I just logged out and now I'm logged in.

Someone reply to this and let's see if I get an email.

I'll check back later to update!!

Thanks much

Melody

Subscriptions to a thread and getting an email notification when you receive a private message are two different things. I've never subscribed to a thread but just had a look at it all in the FAQ.
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/fa..._subscriptions

btw I just sent you a TEST private message.

[edited to add: I decided to subscribe to this thread up in Thread Tools above the thread and clicked on the Notification / Instant for email notification so will see what happens.
I also had to change a setting in UserCP/Edit Options/Messaging and Notification.
Then I had to SAVE Changes at the bottom of the page.
If it's not saved it will go back to default setting which is Do Not Subscribe.]

Mel, you may have to contact your email provider as they may be autoblocking our automated emails sent out from NT
You need to let them know that NT is an allowed site.

HI, me again. Still no email notifications. And I have a new problem with my laptop. I'll post a new thread.

Thanks for any help.

You could test it by making a new free email account with gmail (Google's email program).
https://accounts.google.com/ServiceL...t&ltmplcache=2
You can set it to forward to your regular email account, so you don't have to check 2 websites for your emails.

Then change your email address for the forum to the new gmail address..
and see if that makes a difference??

PS. I subscribed to this thread and got the notice of your post.
