Default Got a new charger... works like a charm

I called HP a day after it got annoying. I have the new charger. Unfortunately, there is a chip out of the part that holds the screen in in the front of the lap top monitor. I assume that is going to be a somewhat easy fix if we decide to fix it. I think there are little screws in the "front panel" that holds the monitor screen in. It should be an easy since it's just the little "window frame" of the lap top screen.

Will this be any kind of problem if I let it sit as is

PS.
The missing piece isn't really visable until you close the lap top. I'm just asking if I should get this fixed with a new lap top screen frame. Can that be done? I don't know if the little rubber stoppers that are there to cushion the screen when you close the lap top have screws hidden behind them and if the problem happens again.

If it gets bad, can it be taken anywhere that offers repairs (and it would help if it carried HP computers.)

(If I asked something simular to this. I am sorry. I couldn't find my original queston with the same blurb.)
